Not for carrying "heavy" packages....and yes.

The suction cups are stong...but remember....they ARE suction cups.

:hammer:

I like the looks as well but am concerned with the suction cups messing up the finish on the tank.

I'm not sure how hard a finish the clear coat is.

Don't trust suction cups. My son bought a Mohawk (in Red to match his Busa) it came with suction cups, and it flew off less than a mile from the house. It said in the mounting instructions it would withstand up to 150 MPH :jest: never said anything about 35MPH :-D

So far I have not had any trouble with the grid flying off..or even being loose. Actually, when I'm tucked the windscreen while doing the ton.....the grid keeps my zipper from scratching my tank.

The cups have not damaged the paint at all.

The cups are VERY strong, but like I said...they ARE suction cups...not welds.

Where?

I've been searching the web, but I'm having trouble finding anyone on this side of the pond who now offers a parcel grid for the new Bonnies.

Sadly, the poor sole who was making them passed away a few years ago. Peter Jenks was making them for awhile with the blessing of the maker's widow, but I don't know if he still does. Those suction cups work remarkably well and will not mare the finish. I use mine with a nylon tank bag.
