It got strangely warm yesterday , 48F as opposed to 22F the previous day! weird weather, but it motivated me to install hooligan pipes on the bonneville...I'm not 100 % happy with the way they fit tho.
is it normal for them to flare out so much, as well as up? they are way wider at the back than stock, but looking down on the bike they dont stick out farther than the end of the footpegs. normal for these, or what?

Geoff...I don't know what the "hooligan" pipes are, but my EMGO Burgess style "Newbonneville Sprint" pipes also slope upwards and flare out in the back.
In my case I thought it was due to the combination of the header adaptor pipe and the mounting brackets used.
