Hi people, new member from sunny Birmingham England and 1 of the rare breed of Brits that owns a speedmaster. I am keen to change the stock pipes for triumph short slash for the improved sound and looks but am worried they would spoil the long distance comfort due to vibration and noise levels at a constant 90mph, can anybody advise me otherwise .

I put Staintune slashcut pipes on my speedy didn't make any difference as for the vibration factor goes but I also (correct me if I'm wrong) got the pollution gear ripped out which stopped my girl from backfiring. Hope this helped.

Have long slash cuts. Considerably more noise (but that's what you wanted, right?) but not overly loud. No difference in vibration.

Welcome, by the way - not too many of us Speedys around over here!
