Shouldn't there be about ten thousand more cables sprouting from the rear of that thing? What did they do with em all?

Lotta work's been done to that bike, yet the dent in the tank remains...

No access to oil filter without removing the pipes.

Defintely retro although not like old Bonnevilles. This guy even blacked out the top of his carbs. A lot of attention but like Trim said the dent is still a dent. And check out where the right side passenger peg mounts were hacked off, still raw metal not a lick of paint. Besides my nit-picky self it does look very clean and I like the look way much.

I'm giving serious thought to rerouting all the wires that currently reside inside the headlight and doing something similar to what these folks did, but I want to use a headlight like this:

It's similar to the stock unit, but the bucket is much shallower. I'd have to make new headlight brackets for it. The whole goal being to suck the headlight in towards the forks as much as possible to make the front end cleaner. I think most of those wires could be relocated from the headlight to under the gas tank, but it'd be a job...

Keep us informed on what you come up with if you do not mind. I love that light and I would love to see what you come up with to hide all of the wires. The only thing I can think of at the moment is to extend all the wires to store them under the seat...

Will do. All the wires originate from under the tank, so I don't think it'd be too much work to bunch them up under the tank.
