I am looking at all the seat options for a 06 Speedy. Here's the deal. I really love that low solo seat look but have a wife and would like to stay married! So I want a solo seat with a removable pillion that is "easy" to remove for when I want to ride solo. The stock gunfighter seat is not making it in the comfort department. The new low profile solo seat and passenger seat from newspeedmaster look good to the eye but I don't know if either one is better than the stock gunfighter? Anyone have a set? Any suggestions. HELP!

P.S. I don't tour but do ride 100 or more miles in a trip.

Joe- no info on the pillion from Brent, but I have been very happy with the low profile seat. A little firm, at first, but sets me lower (short legs) and the look is perfect compared to the "muffin top" puffiness of the stock.

Joe, I use the stock gunfighter for when I'm riding alone. I got the Triumph touring seat with low sissy bar for when the wife is riding shotgun. She loves it!

Joe, we're in the same boat. Check out a thread "any thoughts on Corbin seat?". My plan was to get the solo corbin seat, and the pillion which swaps on and off pretty quickly for those 2-up days. Good luck!

i have the low profile solo seat and the pillion pad on my speedy, and ive thrown my leg over the pillion seat and would not want to go anywhere too far im tellin ya, it looks cool, its a seat for my bird, but shes got a hard ass anyway,if you source out the company that makes the seat for brent, im sure they could make one with gel in it, its worth ago.

With the low profile solo seat from brent can you still use the seat latch?
