Here are the photo's (in my members album) I spoke about a few weeks ago. Again this is made from 1.5 inch aircraft aluminum alloy. I am 5 ft 10 in tall and this position works great for me. Oh and by the way this is a 06 Bonnie.

I just can't decide if it needs to be black or polished? Any suggestions?

Happy Holidays!
Randy

I recommend black powder coat. I am 5'9" tall but more importantley 32" inseam. I bought the short version Billy Bar from Newbonneville.com. I bought the polished stainless steel. I sent it in for exchange because my knees were as high as the top of the fuel tank(felt like riding a stock Sportster with highway pegs). While I am getting the exchange I am going to get the long version in powder coat black. The stainless takes away from the clean lines of the motor. The black blends in sort of like the oil cooler does..Newbonneville suggest 33" or shorter to get the short Billy Bar. I recommend 30" or shorter to get the short version.IMHO.

RANCAM,

Nice clean look. I'd say go with black, but then I'm an anti-chrome type.

My experience has been the same. I'm 6'0" with a 32" inseam and the short Billy Bar isn't for me. Need the longer to get any extension at all. Bike feels really strange with my knees so high.

Dennis
