I installed a chrome front mud guard on my '03 Lucifer Orange T100 just after It was purchased and like the looks of it a lot. While stopped for gas the other day, the Bonnie drew the usual small crowd. One gent noticed that the front and rear mudguards did not match, but he really liked the looks of the chrome. He had a point. I finally got around to trying to order a chrome rear mud guard to match, only to find out that the factory does not make them. Has anyone found a supplier for these, or will I just need to have the original steel unit stripped and chromed locally?

Thanks!

I plan on pulling my front fender and the cam cover off
some time soon , after I put my bike into hibernation
for the winter.
I am hoping to get them chromed for less then buying them
new.
$240.00 for the chrome front fender sounds a little to steep
for me and, $110.00 for the cam cover is not to bad but,
I'm still hoping to get it done cheaper.
If the place I bring it to is reasonable I may have the chain guard done also. I thought about getting the rear fender
chromed to but, I was thinking it would kinda clash with
the chrome tail light housing.

My 2001 came with all the engine covers chromed and, I think
the chrome cam cover will really dress it up nice.

I know I have seen some pic's on this site with chromed rear fenders. I think bellacorse has them.

The cheapest, easiest way to get a chrome fender is to have your fender chromed.

I have been searching , and I have not found any yet.
I know I have seen some on the new bonnie's.
My old Bonny has front and rear fenders. I was a little bumed
that the new ones did not come with them.

Here is one from Bella corse, although I cant find them on
there site. this pic is from there site if you click on mororcycles.

Hey Bill,

I notice they (BellaCourse) also list them on the project info section. They even list a BCC part number, as if they sell them.

Front Fender: Polished aluminum 5" fender with rolled lip.
Rear Fender: Polished aluminum 6" fender with rolled lip
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
BCC-124 Polished Aluminum 5" Fender $89.99
BCC-125 Polished Aluminum 6" Fender $159.99

What's up w/ all that? Maybe they can get them for you?

ahh.. there polished aluminum. I thought they were chrome.
$89.99 is a lot better then $240.00 for the chromed one.
Although the aluminum you would have to keep up a lot
more then you would with the chrome.
I'm still hoping to get a good price on having them chromed.

That's the ticket. Aluminium just wouldn't cut it. Thanks, Brent!

I scored a new chrome fender on Ebay for 49.00. I picked up a brand new take off thruxton fender for 50.00 on ebay and having it plated for 95.00 as I type this. I hope to have it back from the plater this week. I prefer to use real TRIUMPH parts...they fit I many be new to this forum...but I am no newbie to motorcycles...
