It's coming together quite well.... and I seem NOT to have misplaced many parts.

I have to install lower bars with no rise if I want to use the bubble style fairing, and I have some mod's to do to it. Soooo, either I use my Black Omar's bikini fairing (add some Red pinstripes), or put the above WIDE flat track bars on, and trim the fairing to clear the speedo & tach. Of course lower bars will match those Raask rear-sets I put on.

Still have stuff to do, but assembling the body parts makes me feel like I making progress. I hope I can get it outa the house when it's time to fire it up......

Yeah..... it's VERY Red! The Black engine, Black knee pads, and the Black powder coated tank badges help to tone all the Red down though.

This bike can easily be converted from a sport cruiser to a café racer:

* I can use the upright Sporty bars with my Black Omar's Bikini fairing, traditional Bonnie "bench" seat, and my home-made chrome TT pipes (albeit loooong "TT pipes"). The bike will be permanently fitted with Black powder coated rails for some Triumph cordura bags.
I need to find some Black side-covers (or chrome) for this package.

* Wtih some low bars, I'll fit my color matched traditional "bubble" style fairing, color matched seat cowl with 70's era tuck & roll upholstery, and my Black D&D's with a modified internal baffle.

Below pictured are my ceramic Black D&D's, home-made straight pipes, and a shot of the inside of my headers treated with Blue Kreem (to keep radical bluing of the pipes to a minimum).

I always thought the black motor would look good with some colored sheet metal, I was thinking silver would look good with the all black motor, but I think you've nailed it.

Long live the bonniered. Nice work Pat.

Pat - looks great - bet you can't wait for a nice long shake down ride. Although as art in the living room , it will be hard to replace. JCW

The bike look's great Pat...you must be very excited about completing this and getting her on the road. The red against the black engine look's sweet.

Noticed you mounted the crashbars off the old bike...and wanted to ask you if the different badge's on either side of the tank are intentional or if your having a issue deciding which ones to mount?

I have the mouth organ badge's mounted to mine, but the eyebrows really look good as well.
