Jeez, what a mess.....

everything looks better now;
having returned the tubes, headlamp housing, speedo/tach, routing the cables/wires, etc.
- BUT -
While assembling and hooking up all the wires to my speedo & tach, and sticking all the bulbs where they belong, I ended up with a lone connector thingy coming out of the harness with all the other instrument wires. I can't for the life of me figure out what it must go to. It doesn't seem long enough to reach the horn, though I haven't mounted it yet.....

Any ideas/suggestions?
It now hangs directly beneath the tach/speedo, with seemingly no place to go.

I have a little unused connector on mine that has a grey wire and an orange wire. The wiring diagram says it is for an alarm LED.

Is there a switch for the kickstand shutoff?

Whoa.... I'm sneaking access to the 'Net while at work; and you guys are coming through for me.

- THANKS! -

Based on the above posts, I'm thinking it's a wire for the optional alarm. There is a plastic chrome thingy in the instrument panel that looks like it's there to replace an LED. The wire looks like it's the perfect length/location for just such an LED.

The project Bonnie is starting to look like a motorcycle again. I'm anxious to put the wheels on, rear-sets, handlebars, etc, etc, etc.
