The Chrome Oval Mirrors use good 'ol American SAE hardware. To install, you remove the stock mirrors and you are left with a hole on your control housings. The SAE bolt passes through without any modification.

Good looks...poor functionality. The chrome ovals are perfect... to see your elbows with IMO.

May I suggest Emgo oval mirrors for Yamaha V-Stars. The mirrors will screw right onto your existing stems.

I put the mini-ovals on mine. You can "Buy it Now" for $23.95 on eBay.

Kudos to Panthermark for giving me this tip when I was a Newbie.

I have to say that I agree Road dog. Received mine a couple of weeks ago.

I'm sticking with them anyway 'cause they look so good, but I can't say they're the safest mirrors to use. Takes effort to move arms to see all behind you.

yeah, unfortunately, best looking mirrors you'll ever see, but not real functional - even with my wide 'seagull' bars - have to shift your elbows around...shame really

I noticed a Harley parked beside me on Sunday and as far as I could tell it looked like it had the same kind of bolt through mirrors that the Bonnie has.

Can anyone confirm?

Another "thumbs-up" for the EMGO V-Max clones. I've had mine for almost a year now and haven't had any problems (plus I think they look good).
Purchased mine from jpcycles.com and installed the mirror head on the existing stock Triumph mirror stem.

Try Napoleon Bar Ends. They use rubber dampner mounting and are superior to the Emgo stuff that is out there.

If you can't see behind you with these, you better join a circus.

The Bellacourse Ovals are gorgeous things of beauty. I use one to shave every morning. They do not function well in their intended use, however.
