I'm finding out that all the aftermarket handlebars available have a common wall thickness of 2.5mm or .098" (12 ga).

Does anyone happen to know the wall thickness of the stock bars? Maybe you have yours laying around along w/ a pair of calipers?

I would really like to know for the sake of comparison. But, unfortunately I no longer have my stock handlebars. Thanks.

Thanks, Brent. But I was afraid of that. So then why did I notice so much more vibration in the hands after I switched to aftermarket bars???

I had a silimar issue until I tightened the hell out of the screws on the bar clamp.
