I just got the new (02)bonni and still learning about it .Only have about 20 miles on it. I have notices at about 50 to 55 around town ( haven't been on a hi way yet) the I get a sort of quivering, shaking sensation thru the bars. It doesn't feel unstable but it feels like I'm being blown around. I'm wearing a leather jacket that isn't tight and that might be blowing around a bit and I have a summer shield . That shield is attache to the steering and I'm wondering if pushing it thru the air is causing this,. I also just realized that I've gone this speed on the same road so it could be the road. Has anyone put a steering damper on their bonni? Is there any way to tighten up the steering?

Almost any fork mounted windsheild, on any bike is gonna transmit, oscillation, vibrations, deviations....and all of those bad "...tions" words to one degree or another. Just part of the package.....never thought I'd ever ride another bike without a w/s.....but there ia no w/s on my Bonnie, and other than a Dart flyscreen, probably never will be....

Start by taking the summer screen off. Then make sure your jacket isn't acting like a sail, kind of like the screen will do. Once you've ruled out the screen and the jacket, if you still have the problem, post back with specifics as to the condition of the bike, modifications, tires, tire pressure, exactly when and how the bike feels and at what rpm, in what gear, when it starts and stops, etc. Probably a simple solution, but an important one to get right.

And even though the bike is brand new, don't assume the tire pressue is correct. Inflate per bike manual
