I'm thinking of getting the Staintune teardrop pipes.
I'm wondering if the are any problems with the center stand or sidestand. There's a rubber plug on the original left pipe for the center stand to rest on and I'm wondering if the Staintune has the same plug. If not does thecenter stand hit the pipe when going over bumbs?
Also, how much louder do you think the pipes are as compared with the TOR with and without the removable baffles?
I understand the Staintune teardrops have baffles that can be eaily put on and off to change the noise level.
From what people are saying it seems the quality of the pipes are second to none.

I have them. I love them. I don't have a centrestand but there is stopper for the centrestand no problem with sidestand.
Mine a not too noisy at lower rpms but make a decent note at higher rpms.
When i first got them I ran without the restrictor and they were too loud, but I was running stock jetting so it was lean.
Now with jetting a little rich the difference is not so noticeble but the bike seems to perform better with them in.
A little louder but a nicer note than TORs and a lot better built. These mufflers will last forever.
A mate has reverse cones on his 865 T100 and although they sound similar the RCs have a little more bass but that may be the 865 more than the RCs

Motolink,
They were $1000 Aussie but that was nearly 2 years ago. I don't think they have gone up much as my mates Thruxton typw RCs were around the same 2 months ago.
Staintune will only sell to bike shops in Aust. Any bike shop will order them for you.
