Very nice, any dyno runs with just the cams and no pipes?

What about figures on a 790?

Brent - can you comment on the general 'rideability' of a 790cc or 865 cc after installation of the performance cams? From the graph, it would appear that performance across the rpm range is improved, which should mean that the bike would still run nicely in the lower rpm range (I think).

These cams are meant for the 865 motor, I'm sure they'd fit in the 790 but benefits?

They leave the bike essentially unchanged until 6,000 rpms then the party begins. That dyno curve shows a bike with the head worked on too, a port/polish job. Although they only make more power on top, the increased exhaust scavenging effect should make the bike seem much quicker to rev at any RPM. They are expensive, but I bet they're fun.

They're on my list...

Right, the cams were developed on an 865 bike. And that's what they're being sold for. Unfortunately, I doubt they'll do any cams for us (790 riders). here's the torque chart;

Is anyone else concerned looking at the torque curve in the graph below? The hp numbers are impressive, about 10 more pony's over my bike it seem's. Sitting here looking at my dyno sheet from when my motorwork was done...I'm making as much torque as the motor in the graph below.

However my torque peaks at 5k...where tbikes peaks at what look's like 6800. My bike peaks right where tbikes has it's largest dip.

10 more is a lot when you think about it percentage wise, these cams (with the unmentioned headwork) give about a 15hp gain, which works to over a 20% benefit if you assume a bike with intake/exhaust properly jetted makes 65hp.
