If they have the cowl in the '03 blue paint color, I'd totally get it!

those prices, as usual, are absurd. Especially for the cowl. $130 for a painted piece of plastic? give me a break! btw, I think I saw some after market ones on ebay at one point.

The aftermarket one has a different shape, as far as I can tell from the pix, and is designed for the standard Bonnie seat. Doesn't quite look right. I'm Goodwood Green, so I'll either have to paint to match, or go black for the cowl.

Also, the aftermarket one is around $100 too. And yeah, it doesn't look right.

I've been waiting patiently for a Thruxton cowl to come up on eBay that didn't end up costing as much as a new one, and a couple weeks ago my patience was rewarded -- because it was scraped up, it went for $36. It'll be easy to clean up and repaint; of course, I still need the Thrux seat to put it on...

While I'm rehabbing the thing, I'm tempted to make a mold of it and start producing my own to sell on eBay...

I wouldn't care if the Thrux seat was firmer .... I'm ok with the stock seat in tht respect.

What'd I like to know is ...... is the Thruxton seat taller than the stocker? Would it provide a little bit more seat to footpeg distance?

GGRat - are those Thruxton pipes on your bike? If so, did you do the BBQ heat resistant flat black paint treatment on them? Looks great! Also, do those Thrux mufflers attach to the same hard points as they do on the Bonneville?

South Bay Triumph did all the work and they used British Customs latest Predator Exhaust and British Customs ceramic coated headers. No "hacksaw" modifications were needed.

HINT: look closely, there's a SOUND BITE link you can listen to just above the "Related Products" heading. Enjoy.

You can put me down for one of those once you start production. I don't know why Triumph doesn't sell them cheaper themselves.
