So I go to www.newbonneville.com and see this new stroker kit, interesting indeed. No mention of a new crank.....so I go to wiseco's site as directed for specifics as instructed at newbonneville. No crank mentioned. What am I missing, how you gonna stroke with stock crank?

Weld and offset grind. At least that's what the offroad folks usually do.

Maybe the crank end of the rod is smaller, then you just offset grind the crank.

You could always call them and ask.

Funny you should mention it - I noticed that too. It seems like a heck of an omission to me.

Stroking isn't something the novice should undertake, or understand, but it seems like wiseco should be able to provide crank service.

C'mon Wiseco, quit pulling my leg and stroke my crank!

Long and thin doesn't win,
short and thick does the trick!

A dude on twin talk with an America has a website with step-by-step pictures and descriptions. Sorry I forget the name, but I saw it two weeks ago.
A search ought to turn up the thread with the site link.

It's not a stroker if I remember correctly, I think it's a jug swap. Remember the old Triumphs had the Morgo jugs?

For all the hassle I'd skip it. If you need more urge buy a Buell

I'd rather try brain surgery, but a turbo would be easier than more cc's/

Mocker,

You're probably talking about Dinqua--I believe he has an America. He installed a big bore kit and provided good pictures and writeup. He also has a pretty good write-up with pics on carbs if my old memory is correct.
