Some of you have seen Loxpump's recent stellar post with cross sectioned photos of the stock pipes.

What you may not know is that he is also very generous with the tools required to complete the baffelectomy procedure. He sent me a 20" 1/2" drill bit that I used to drill through the interior baffles after removing the rear packing. He even paid for the postage!

In his honor, I will continue the goodwill and make this offer:

The first person replying to this post - assuming they want the stuff - can have a complete bafflectomy kit including both the metal hole saw for the rear packing and the 20" drill bit to get through the interior baffles. Just reply to this post and then PM me your mailing address and I should get the tools in the mail by Monday latest.

The bafflectomy makes a difference but its no substitute for aftermarket pipes. I describe the bafflectomy sound as a growl but there's really no bark. Still... worth it for the price.

And yes, I will pay for the postage.

Pete,
I wish I would have seen my pics when I was drilling mine. There was a bit of an uneasiness about drilling into the unknown, but I'm glad to hear that it worked out for you. I'm running the debaffled pipes on my 2002 Bonnie now. However I do have a set of removable baffle Emgo Megaphones on their way to replace them. The growl is ok and definitely economical but I miss the bark! I wonder what percentage of people that debaffle their mufflers end up with aftermarket pipes anyway. And the bit that has grown into a kit is heading to NW Florida. My in-laws live there, in Shalimar. Is that anywhere near you Dennis?

Loxpump,
Yep, Shalimar is just down the road a piece. Maybe 40 miles or so.

SpeedyPete,
The kit arrived today.

Anyone know where Loxpump's kit has landed nowadays? I need the 20' drill bit and I don't have a welder to make my own.

Why not PM Wonderdog?
He's been online as recently as 3 days ago, just ask him if he still has it.

I was wondering how it has traveled. Nice to see it's still being put to good use, and my weld is holding up.
