So, those little caps that cover the bolts that clamp the bars in the risers on the America - do those screw off or pry off?

They're chromed plastic too, and when they get scratched (very easily) they show thru to the black. You can get chromed metal ones to replace them. They are also on the 4 screws that lock the front axl.

They have real chrome ones at the Yamaha dealer on N. Monroe. Across from the barbecue place, next door to the funeral home. One stop shopping.

And on the rear seat brackets.
They break and chip like M&M's if you're not careful.
I know...

Thats where i got mine. Well, not that dealer but a yami dealer here in L.A. The only think about those tho is that the cap is not as wide as the stock ones and doesn't completely cover the screw heads by a good margin. I wanna find some that do. I think it may be possible to find them at a hardware store that has that full isle of screw and nuts and related parts in drawers.

Thanks as always for the tips. Gonna try a little handlebar adjustment and next up is probably gonna be floorboards.
Y'know, I was wonderin' 'bout that Yamaha dealer. Is it _really_ such a good idea to sell motorcycles next to a funeral home?

They even share the parking lot. Last time I stopped in, parked next to a hearse.
