So I finally got my 19t sprocket from newbonneville and I got to say.... scrumtastic!wonderific! spectaculicious!

But seriously folks. I cannot say enough about the fact that at 70mph I'm just humming along without a care in the world. Power off the line... yeah. there's a little loss there but I didn't even have to get used to it. Little more clutch.. little more gas. I even drove two up through the cruz downtown and had no problem. Love it!

Reporter Bob - But really Jim what are your thoughts on the 19t?
Jimmyc - Well Bob I got to say.... I love it!
Reporter Bob - Wow! That's fantastic!
Jimmyc - Thanks Bob.
Reporter Bob - Thanks for what?
Jimmyc - Just for being you.. Now back to you in the studio.

Mine came stock with the 18t, so I thought I'd try the 19t and I HATED IT! Everyone seems to love it, so I'd recommend trying it.

Thanks to Rodburner I now have a 17t which I'm going to install whenever I get off me arse. I can't wait for the wheelie hooligan goodness. That may be a little wishful thinking but I'm excited anyway.

I will say I was a little apprehensive about the 19t. I originally ordered an 18 from newbonny and shot an email to them to make the change to the 19. I just got back from a 100 miler this morning and my mind is still set. Around town and through the country. I love it. Now as for that wheelie hooligan? I've had my share of those at 70+mph on my zx12. It can be fun but I'd rather keep 'em both planted on solid ground.

Good luck to those that try the 19t. For twenty bucks it's a no brainer. If you no likey then swap it back.

OUT!

Maybe it's a bonne black thing but it made the bike, I could ride everywhere. Let's face it the 790 needs a little more punch to make it truely street worthy. I but on my 19t and my slip-ons and air filter on the same beautiful day. It was like night and day. I'm still smiling about it.

I have to agree with Jimmyc, the 19t c/s sprocket makes a world of difference in a T100. I put mine on about 3k miles ago and I don't feel I've lost anything. The bike just charges harder out of a corner. Now I have to upgrade the brakes.

I would recommend a 19t c/s sprocket, but to each his own..

Update -

Still love the 19t just wanted to update the mpg's.

Ran like hell through a tank of gas = 40mpg
Easing on down the road = 45mpg

In a previous post I stated the the max speed in each gear - rev limit hit. Caused quite a stir. Ooops.
