According to the news on the new 2007 Bonnies on the Triumph website, they will be going up $2000 from 2006. All Bonnies will have the 865cc, not just the T100. But even the T100 will bump up in price. Does anyone have any info to the contrary?

Here's a quote from the web
"The on the road prices for the 2007 Bonneville Black is $8,999, the Bonneville is $9,499 and the T100 is $10,999. The bikes will be available from early July."
Just to make you feel happier, the prices in the UK ( where they're made ) are $400 higher!!!!!!!!
We are so ripped off in the UK on EVERYTHING- Unleaded is now $8.5 a gallon - and you say you're ripped off?
On a brighter note - at least the used prices will rise as a result.
The most cynical thing Triumph have done is to put the 865 lump in the T100 this year ahead of putting it into ALL models next month ( 2007 models)
By the way, what is all this 2007 nonesense all about - Harleys and car makers are doing it too - producing a model half way thru the year and then calling it the next year's model!! Is it me or am I missing something here?
Does this mean we'll have the 2008 model by Jan 2007? Where will it end.
Oh hang it, I'm off to order my 2010 Bonneville ha ha

Pretty standard motor industry - some plants close for a couple of weeks in August for the summer break, and re-tool at that time. For example, Volkswagen model years have started the September before the calendar year since 1967 ('68 MY).

I'm finding the same 2007 pricing info when I search the web.
So, here we are going into 2007 .... with a $9000 MSRP Bonnie Black, a $9500 MSRP Bonnie, and an $11000 MSRP T100. That's a 28% increase for BB, 26% increase for Bonneville, and 34% increase for the T100.
I wonder if Triumph (at least the Bonneville lineup) is in such high demand in the US that the T100 can be successfully marketed at $11,000 (ok...$10,999)?
Hmmmm ..... ???? Any thoughts? I have a few, but I'll hold them for later.
Here's a web link to one of the 2007 price announcements.

I'm glad I bought mine this year. I'm not sure I would pay the '07 prices. I'll be keeping this bike for a long time so it's a good thing I LOVE this bike :-D

In a way I'm a little pleased. I was slightly dissapointed to see the move to all 865cc engines right after I bought my 790. Not that I'm unhappy with the 790 and I doubt I would've waited for the '07 and missed several months of riding. Still, the price increase helps to reaffirm the purchase and takes the edge off the feeling that I somehow missed out on something.

Price increases at that level are nothing but arrogance due to their success. It may also lead to failure at some point when people pull back and then Triumph will ask themselves why? Leaves a bad taste in my mouth - accessories will probably follow?

Maybe the MSRP increase is a marketing ploy. Gives dealers more room to negotiate. Makes buyer feel like a good deal is in the offing. I am having a hard time believing that the increase is as high as stated given the number of Bonnie's of all models on my dealers showroom floor.

SAME HERE!!! I think we may have just "dodged a bullet" roach. I'm not sure I COULD pay the '07 prices! I guess it takes some of the sting out of paying '06 MSRP at least. Now if they were to improve several things (IE: suspension, exhaust headers and mufflers, seating ergonomics) then I could understand the drastic increases in price. I understand supply and demand, but the percentages that ohiorider figures falls near price gouging IMO.
