I've been talked ibnto fitting new jets to match the TORs gbut I don't know what size of Main jet to buy.
Can anyone tell me this? What size jet is standard for a 2004 Bonnie?
Is the main jet the only jet I need or is there something else involved withg re-jetting?

I'm thinking with a 2004 you have a 790cc bonny.
the tuning notes at Jenks suggest a 120 jet
125 if you put a UNI or K&N filter in
they do not tell me what stock is, but I think 110, or maybe 105 for yours

I think stock you're running 110/40 jetting. Per Geoff's suggestion, check page 10 of the Jenks Tuning Manual. It'll give you jetting sizes for various combinations of intake and exhaust systems.
Here's the Jenks link

Bonnie TORs come with 115's Thrux TORs don't come with jets.
If you have a 790, and you do no other mods, you should put in the 115's.
If you have an 865, then you don't have to put in the 115's, if you don't want to.

Question why don't you have to put in new jets for the Thruxton TOR's?

I just purchased a set of predators and wondering what size to rejet (if at all).
all i've done to the bike is an AI and snorkel removal.
any suggestions?
if i look at the tuning guide mentioned above, do i need to consider that predators are "open" exhaust systems?

The 865cc engines run differently. My guess is the milder cams and "Thrux" needles makes the engines run richer. That's why when a bike is modded, 790's will always have larger jets then an 865, even if they have the same mods.

No one talks about the dynojet kit, which has slide springs (softer) adjustable needles, along with main jets.
I have TOR's, the needle is in the 4th richest position (one richer to go) and I have the 3rd richest main jets in, with one step richer to go (120?).
The snorkle is out.
The softer slide springs allow lots more throttle opening, and the richer jets allow more fuel, so the bike really seems to get a boost from about 2000 rpm's and up.
I should try the next step richer, as every step up I went the bike had more power.
The nice thing about the dynojet kit is its adjustable, needles and jet selection....if you want to go back to stock, there are no drilled slides to worry about.
The kit also comes with a D tool for the pilot mixture screws.
