Has anyone put on a larger windscreen? I have a flyscreen and it does a nice job of keeping the bugs off my instruments.
Any suggestions for when I want to put on somthing that will keep the bugs off of me? I've got a BMW R1200GS and at times, it's really nice having that big wind screen.
Thank you.

I have a National Cycles Street Shiled. It took a while to get it set in the right position but now it is set. At first it caused helmet buffeting at freeway speeds but I finally got the tilt right.

I have a Parabellum Scout fairing on order though www.parabellum.com

Todd,
Thank you. That is what I'm looking for. I'll check it out.

Todd...
Let us know how you like the Scout. I have the parabellum sport shield and the more I ride with it the more mixed feelings I have. The protection is good with some buffeting at hiways speeds and sometimes not any? However the engine Noise is terrible with the shield on. I've only heard of one other person complaining of this with the w/s but none with the fairing???
Good Luck!

Love the color on your bike.
What type of saddle is that?

Holy ***** are those Parabellums ugly......especially the tall ones.....if style takes a back seat (as in back in the trunk) to function.....then I'm sure they're worth it. I could never do it....but then again I don't think I could I'd want to put more than 250 mi on the Bonnie in one day no matter how it's decked out.

I'm 6'2" tall, would either of those windshields be tall enough to stop head buffeting? Also their cost please?
Thanks

Stu,
The Parabellum Scout fairing can be ordered with different height windshields. When I talked to them, they recommended an 18" windshield for me. I did a lot of measurements and settled on a 16" windshield. I get no buffeting. The "bug line" starts just above my helmet visor and I look over the windshield when riding. I am 5'8"--don't know my sitting height. I do use a 10" windshield in the triple digit summers--the "bug line" on this windshield starts about 6" below the bottom of my helmet.
The Parabellum Scout fairing cost was $475, unpainted. It cost me $500 to get it painted at a custom bike shop.
