Right now my throttle is sticking and I love it. It allows me to relax my hand on long trips. But I know I may leave my gas running or just get into trouble so I'm going to get it fix, replaced whatever. But I still want the control it gave me and release from hand cramp. So what's good on the market for us.

Maybe someone else has found a cruise control. Only thing I found was that plastic thingy you put around the grip. It lets you rest the back of your hand on it & release the fingers. But you are still controlling the throttle. Takes a little getting used to. About 1 1/2 minutes. It can be rolled forward but not back. So in town you just roll it around under the grip to get it out of your way. It works really good but it isn't a real cruise control. I got mine at my local shop. $10.00 or less I think. It would be good until something else is found. Or forever.

1/8" o ring, about an inch in diameter. Place it between the switch gear and end of rubber grip.

I saw the breakaway but bonneville or any classic style triumphs aren't supported. But all Harleys are so maybe no ones tryed it. Harleys have 1 inch bars so theirs a chance. Now the 1' o ring seems simple and kind of what I'm feeling right now. But is that safe? That's the big question.

I contacted them directly, and they gave me the part # for the correct cruise control. I believe it's the same one as the thruxton, but I cannot find the part #.
I suggest contacting them directly.

They have a part number (6CB03) for an 04 Bonneville. I don't think the handlebar or the switchbox is much different from the 06. But what do I know. It definitely makes sense to contact them directly.
Let us how it works out. I am interested in getting one myself.

I made a cruse control by accident - when I installed Napoleon bar-end mirrors, the one on the right rubbed the end of the throttle grip enough that the throttle would stay at wherever it was set. However, I adjusted the control so it no longer does this. I liek the idea of a cruise control as my hand cramps easily, but I don't like the idea of a throttle that doesn't snap back, at least by clicking a trigger. I may check out a Vista Cruise control. The universal fit for 1" bars is supposed to be a simple installation.
