Hi all
For the first time I had a winning bid on ebay. I've felt for a while that it would be neat to have an old bonnie as well.
Here she is. 1970 T120.

Looks nice!
Now all you need is some stock silencers.

It looks quite in good shape in the photo.

I must admit, I like my 69 Daytona more then the 2005 Bonneville, but it being a 500cc, it does not have the power to run comfortably on the interstates.

Your 650 should be able to run at speed fine though, and the 1969 or 1970 bikes were the best Triumph ever made in my book.

The 500cc motors had some weak points in the transmission and valve guides, but I think the 650 bikes were better there.
I have put about 15,000 hard miles on the Daytona, with a lot of hard dirt riding in the mix, and nothing has broken and I have not had to push it home (or have it towed).

Good luck with it, and enjoy.

Brett

Man that IS a good looking bike. What is that chrome lever thingy sticky out the side? Looks like something to put your foot on & maybe kick. Couldn't be that though. What would it be for?
Now just to open her up to a 865 or so with a disk brake front end & a harder seat. That would be good.

Congrats beyond. Man I miss the oil drops on my driveway. Hey you're probably not too far from Eldersburg, Md. home of Deer Park Cycle. Jack is the master at carb syncing, he does Tridents! If you don't have a local shop guy or do it yourself, give him a buzz or drive down and see him he's the angel you'll need to tweek it to sweetness. Good luck and again congrats, the right shifter club is an institution all to itself.E-mail me if you want to do some pics of her and go for a ride. Jack's at Deerparkcycle.com
