Many thanks to those who helped with with my last post on the sidestand and extreme lean on the parked bike, a flat washer under the sidestand bolt seemed to add some rigity as did tightening the top bolt (which had some slop) then the bottom nut which helped the lean.

To check to see if I bent the sidestand or lugs can someone with a scrambler on it's sidestand give me a vertical distance from the floor to the center of the left side footrest feeler peg as a double check, mine is measuring out at 6 3/4"

Thanks

Maybe your sidestand is bent. :???:
Mine measures at 7 3/8.
(Double checked with a carpenter's square.)

Your working on a small dimension there with obvious discrepancies.

Why not pick a bigger distance like floor to end of handlebars (pointing straight ahead)

Thanks again Justice, your earlier pics and dimension are much appreciated.

Chris, I see your point about the dimension (multiple would be good at different points) but really just wanted a quick check near the affected area to confirm the lean.

Thanks guys

Shop manual says to torque the Pivot Bolt to 20 Nm and the Pivot Bolt Locknut to 25 Nm. I'd also add some blue threadlock to prevent it from vibrating loose.

Thanks for the torque info, I will double check the bolt and nut. Yeah the blue locktite went on.

If you look at where the sidestand lugs are connected to the frame you will see that the frame actually tapers to a smaller size towards the rear, just holding the bike up and moving the sidestand up and down will flex that connection. Seems strange to have flex there, seems like it should be beefier.
