Has someone posted a procedure for drilling out the stock Bonnie mufflers? If so, could somebody direct me to it? Thanks, Tommyturbo2

If you want to get at the baffles deep inside too, I hear that there is a custom drill bit traveling the country. Last I heard it was heading for Maine.

I've planned this surgery for this weekend. In lieu of the custom drill bit traveling the country, I went to Home Depot and bought a 12" bit-extender thingy. (This is a technical term.) One end goes in the drill and your bit is secured in the other end. With my foot-long 1/2" bit, I hopefully have a two-foot drill bit. Cross your fingers . . . .

I wanted to punch out my mufflers too so I bought a take-off set from E-Bay. I had a steel rod about a foot longer than the mufflers. I sharpened one end & hammered in all the way through both mufflers. It didn't make a bit of difference. It was about an inch thick. I guess I needed an extension for a 2 inch hole saw. But I bought some D&D 's instead.
