Before I go looking for a Triumph chrome levers kit to buy (and they ain't cheap either), I was wondering.... Does anyone know of any issues with installing the chrome lever set? It includes both hand levers, shifter lever and rear brake lever. Sounds simple enough, right?
However, I started wondering about it because I've seen several listed on eBay in the last few months. Most of which were claimed to have been purchased for retail, but never installed on their bike. Did they encounter some unforeseen problem? Anyone know of anything? Or, if you've installed them on your bike... it was straight forward enough, right?

Do they have the adjustable parts for the brake and clutch lever?

That's a good question Nathan. I was wondering about the span adjustable feature myself. Now that would put me off buying 'em, as I really like that feature on mine now.
Maybe someone here can tell us, if the factory chrome hand levers have the span adjustable feature or not. :???:

They may have some kits with the adjustable levers now, but the ones they were selling a couple of years ago did not have the adjustable levers. I bought my chrome (feels like plastic chrome ) brake and clutch levers from someone who had bought the kit but wanted to keep the adjustable levers.

Thanks Larry. Can I buy a kit with TWO adjustable levers???
I did a search on ebay and found an old listing for a set that had one of each. One span adjustable and one non-adjustable hand lever.
But my bike has adjustable levers on both sides. What's up with that??? Did earlier models have one of each?

I have an '04 T100 and they are NOT adjustable span. The kit simply consist of hand levers, shift & brake pedals. I putthem on, except for the brake lever. I will wait until I have new tires put on it and do it then. The clutch lever was a little fat for the stock brackets and tended to hang up. That, plus I overtightend the pivot bolt. I had the bike in for tune up and the mechanic adjusted the cable and all is well. Don't the '06 models come with wheel adjusters? The levers are the same.

Brooksie,
I have to admit, I'm still confused.... If your '04 has neither side w/adjustment, and my '06 has both sides w/ adjustment.
Then is this kit for an '05???

I looked at chrome levers a while ago (imagine that!), and they did not were not adjustable. I'm not sure about the newer stuff.

road_dog,
Neither hand lever in your picture is adjustable--that is the kit that Triumph has been selling for years.

Thanks Larry.
(I found a better picture.)
OK, so these hand levers obviously won't fit my bike, w/ both sides being span adjustable.
Any idea when Triumph will start selling a Chrome Lever Kit for '06 Bonnevilles?
