Had a 19 tooth sprocket for a couple weeks and finally installed it today.

My impressions are:
1) Some loss of acceleration, not much
2) Less hectic at cruising speed on the highway
3) Still plenty of power to pass
4) Dropped rpm about 300 @ 70 mph
5) Mileage should go up from the present 43 mpg

Overall, I like it and will leave it on. Although, I don't think I would if I didn't have the power that the intake, exhaust, and ignition mods have yielded. Extra horsepower overcomes alot of gearing.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Had mine on for some time and never looked back-it works for me even in sporty type riding and in town, although it does better on the road. Love it!

Just changed my 17 tooth to a 18 and love the difference. Considering a 19 tooth for even better highway performance. Bike is bone stock as far as engine goes.

Keep us posted on fuel consumption. True, you'll be running lower engine speed, but you'll also have more throttle opening. Will be interesting to see if consumption changes, and if so, which way.

I have been running the 19 T. for about 3 months .
I absolutely love it on the highway.
Taking off from 1st. is a little sluggish.
and I can ride 2,3, & 4th. a lot longer, hitting 5th. around
75 mph. cruses at 80 & 90 mph very easily.
I did notice right away I lost a lot of engine braking, which
took me a little getting used to.
I have not made up my mind yet as to whether I want to
drop down to the 18 T.

I hated the 19t. I went back to the stock 18t (t100). Much better.

I got worse gas mileage with the 19t b/c I was always in one gear lower than I would have been with the 18t.

I too have changed my bike to a 19t. I love the change, the bike is easier to ride on super slabs. As far as what have I lost, NOTHING. In fact I gained better mileage and better choice of gears. I don't feel like I lost any bottom end grunt and it makes the TON sooo much easier.

I won't be switching back and I've put at least 2k miles on the bike after the change.

After a few tanks of fuel with the 19 tooth sprocket, I am starting to see a trend in the gas mileage.

With the 18 tooth ...... 43 mpg
With the 19 tooth ...... 44 mpg

I thought it would be more, but not the case for me.
