Can't help with your direct question, but have you considered paint? Perhaps those chrome parts would look more appealing to you if sanded down and painted, say, flat silver.

Sorry, I don't know for sure if the hardware on the two OEM shields is the same. On the Tbird it was not.

I have a Clearview replacement screen using the Summer Screen hardware. I believe that they offer the Clearview replacement shields for the Roadster hardware as well.
