I either lost my seat bolts or left them in the garage. Can someone tell me what size they are? I'd like to swing by a hardware store before I have to ride home and pick up some temporary screws. Thanks.

Let me know where specifically you find them. One of mine fell out, too and I'm NOT paying $12 for two bolts.

Home Depot, I think they were 91 cents.

Just be careful. The Thruxton bolts are M6 but the T100 bolts are M5. If you get M6, they won't fit the tool that's generously provided with the T100.

This is not true.

NCRider, you should take a close look at your bolts. The seat bolts should be silver (or plated) then look at the bolts under your mirrors on the handlebars. They should be large flat head socket drive too but they should be black. The black screws have a bigger hex drive hole (6mm I think) but the threads are the 6mm. The silver bolts have a 5mm socket drive and the threaeds are also 6mm.

When the bike comes out of the crate, the dealer has to assemble the seat and mirrors. Some dealers mix up those black and silver bolts because the threads fit just fine. The dealers that make this mistake probably sell more sport bikes than Bonnevilles and dont realize that there is a 5mm allen wrench to remove the silver seat bolts mounted under the side cover.

I lost one so I went to the dealer and bought 4 or 6 or something, I don't remember it being more than a few bucks.

I also bought some blue loctite that I put on the bolts everytime I take them out, no more lost bolts.
