Did anybody buy the "Sixty8" Contemporary seat (T2300603)?
Any photos?
Thanks,
João

Isn't that just a Thruxton seat?

They are the same design, but I think the difference is the contemporary seat is a gel seat, whereas the thruxton seat is not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Like João, I would like to see any pics you may have of a contemporary (or thruxton) seat installed on a bonnie. I would especially like to see how that would look with a grab rail installed. A pic of that would be great.
I'll be getting a grab rail soon, and was getting curious about the new '68 line seat too.

Yup. I like that seat, too. I don't have a saddle that can do two-up and was thinking a Thruxton seat would be the ticket.

I think that's a poor choice for 2 up, if I was going to drop 3 hundo on a 2 up seat, it wouldn't be that one.
I'd go Corbin or Triumph KQ for 2 up.

I`m with Machine on this one. The Triumph K&Q is THE 2-up seat to sit on. The Thrux seat from Hermy`s is a gel seat, front and rear. It looks great but is not that comfortable [IMO]. Maybe if the trips are short,an hour maybe, then, the looks outweigh the discomfort.
Corbin Solo`s made for Harley`s are "firm" also. :-D

Different strokes Sweat. We're looking for a little help here, not opinions.
I have a Triumph solo seat and my stock seat as well. I prefer the solo seat. However, when my 10 yr old daughter wants to ride along, I install the "ole stock rock". So lately I just keep it (the rock) installed, due to convenience.
I'd like to "look" at some possibilities that might work out for my circumstance. Plus, If I decided to go with the contemporary seat, I'd have a like-new solo seat to recoup a couple of "hundo" bucks with.
I personally don't like Corbin. Corbin's customer service is non-existent and the Triumph King & Queen seat is plain ugly to me.
Rodburner... is your camera distorted or is it that seat???
Seriously, looks like the seat came off a crashed Harley or something. :hammer:
Just one dog's opinion.

Thank you all for your answers.
I ordered from Triumph the optional “Single Seat” A9708034 and this is how my T100 will look like (I just don’t have the chrome front mudguard)

Not off a crashed Harley. For a Harley though. [94 Sturgis]

Agree, the K&Q is ugly, but, its the most comfortable by far..

What happened to Black Beauty's front fender?
