Has anyone here swapped a new Bonnie headlight bucket with a late model Thunderbird headlight bucket?

I would like to do this to my Bonnie Black. The stock Bonnie headlight ring would stay (and still be chrome) and the bucket from the tbird would be black. I am told this will work fine (Sean at BC told me this) but would be interested to know if anyone here has done this swap successfully.

The bucket from the tbird is only about $50 and to powder coat mine would be closer to $100 plus my bike would be off the road for more than a week in the middle of riding season if I powder coat vs. only being down for a couple of hours if I buy the tbird one.

Want to see what the headlight bucket looks like on a stock tbird? Click here.

Thanks,
D.

P.S.- The tank looks new but with old knee pads, the Classic Badge, and one of the best custom paint jobs I've seen on A T-100.

Hmmmmm, that's kind of a blurry shot but it appears that he converted the front headlight into a nacelle style one with a chrome strip along the side. I really like it. Anyone know who this bike belongs to? I'd love to chat w/them about how to do that.

British Only has a bunch of nacelle lights. Unfortunately not a lot of pictures but I've purchased from them on several occasions and they are friendly and responsive.

Do a keyword search on their sight for "nacelle" and you'll find about 17 pages worth of related products. Just shoot them an email and ask about measurements and pictures.
