Bought an America last week and can't stop smiling, hell, even commuting to work work is fun. From the snap you can see that the bike (aka the Skutter, for you fellow Red Dwarf fans) is stock I will customize it over time. For now I'm loving it and the road.

Welcome, love that color! These forums just split into three groups, so it might take a while for everyone to get acclimated to the new groups.
It looks like you already removed your air-injection, good move!
You might also want to check out the forums at BonnevilleAmerica.Com, they are specific to the America/Speedmaster, some good folks are there as well (some of the same!).

Good choice. We are supposed to have a long, hot summer to rack up the K's.

Nice looking scoot...I have an 06 America the same color. They are definitely faster than blue

I have been riding over 100 miles per day and around 600 miles I really started to notice more power. I have debaffled my pipes, sounds good too, and removed my snorkel, nothing else. It looks and sounds great.
I have the summer screen, not as good looking as without it but it saves some bug eating

I had to adjust the chain at 1000 miles, other than that, come on in, the water is clean

Welcome. Also love the color. Never liked the grey engine, but it looks good with that paint.
