Thanks Monte...I'm open for business. Come on up to my workshop and we'll do another. I'll wave the co-pay and not charge a deductible, but NO HOUSE CALLS. Sounds great now and no need to buy expensive after market mufflers!!

Sounds like all went well!! Its a pain in the ass getting the main baffle out. After that drill as many holes as you are happy with thru the last 2 oughta 3 restrictor plates. I didn't touch the 1st plate as not to have to re-jet. Back-pressure still there w/ a real nice (original) sound & performance! I opened the jet in thecarb (as recommended) here. It runs awesome & is reliable as hell. Be careful if usuing a drill extension. A spot weld is recommended to keep it from getting lost. I did a drill out to keep it from getting lost in the pipe. Done 4x since then. I also shortened the pea shooters 2" to lose the remnants of the main baffle ( mine rattled). I plan on staying the way it is. Runs & sounds the way i WANT it. When the pipes rust out I will think something new. My garage mate still has the full length on the pea shooters (his didnt rattle). They also have a nice DIFFERENT sound. Enjoy her & ride on!!
