I didn't wish to Hijack the rpm limiter thread... :hammer:

Your last post in that thread : "Well, I think you can easily stroke the crank 6mm. Then get 3mm longer conrods from Carrillo and a 3mm taller cylinder. That way you can use the normal Wiseco kit and you would have 950cc.
For racing it should be possible to build a 1300cc version, but that might be the limit."

I am very intrested in doing this.

There isnt anyone that I'm aware of local to me as knowledgeable as you about the above. I'd like to pic your brain a bit more if I may

Any information you could give me would be a big + part #'s...pricing for a 3 mm taller cylinder from you...etc Would the case's need to be machined? When are you relocating to the states?
:-D

Thanks in advance

Hehe, I'm not planing to move right now.

All my cylinders are the same 4000SEK and if you buy one that's taller than stock it can be machined to stock hight later on if needed.

Parts #?? If it only was that easy  First you must tell me what you are after, the Wiseco kit has a 92mm bore and then you don't need to machine the crankcase, anything bigger and you must.

Bill Gatley can help you with the stroke and Wiseco kit, remember to tell him that you will use taller cylinders from me so you want the normal Wiseco kit, not the kit with lower 1 ring pistons, they are for race only imo.Bill Gately

Then you need to contact Carrillo and order some Bonnie conrods that are 3mm longer than stock.

You can try to make the stock camchain work but I think it will be too short, get a longer one from DID or something..

I don't think anyone have done this before so there is no easy way, you must do some leg work :-D

Thank's for the link to Bill. I'm not intrested in machining the case's so the wiseco kit will be what I am after. I'll be sure to let Bill know about the cylinder from you. Assuming I would want to keep the compression down from the 10.1 the wiseco kit advertise's...would I want a cylinder more than +3mm?

Off to stretch the leg's a bit :-D

Thank you sir :upthumb:

Yes, good call. You want 3.7mm to keep the CR. With 3mm it would go to 10.8, should work if you use high octane gas

Any experience with both mikuni and kiehn carbs?

Preference between the two?

Wonder what this thing will make on the dyno...maybe I should just opt for the turbo...lol

I don't use carbs, they suck
EFI is much better. And it also works much better with a turbo. I use megasquirt
