Got it back today after 500 mi service:
synthetic oil change
installed:
centerstand
TOR's
AI kit
re-jet

Bike certainly feels like its breathing better (b/c it probably is). Feels like there is
definitely a power increase. Bike is running better than ever.

The TORs sound better than stock for sure and when you open her up,
it sounds nice......BUT they're still not that loud. I didn't want really loud
pipes (like Preds, D&Ds) but I would have went Staintunes if I had to
do it over again. But I'm still happy with the bike and don't plan on changing anything.

Did your dealer re-jet? to 115's?

If so, add a UNI or K&N filter and pull your snorkel. Your bike will sound louder to you without the snorkel above 4000 rpm's.

If they did not, that's ok also, but make sure they give you your jets, you will need them in the future....

I have the original parts.
Shop re-jetted to 115.

I'm not touching the bike as far as any more mods. I like it as is. I got a nicely modded Honda Blackbird for when I have the need for speed...etc.

The Bonnie has more sound and more punch now.....just what I wanted.

Howie - I'm like you on the mods. I added TORs, centerstand, removed the AI, installed the 18t sprocket, and rejetted my used T100, and am quite happy with the results. It now gives me the performance I wanted. I think from here on out, it would be a case of diminishing returns. Bonnie now has no flat spots in acceleration, gets 50mpg if I'm not beating the dickens out of her or fighting a headwind, sounds good under load without being too loud for my ears ..... sort of the perfect "Motorcycle 101".

Besides, the cost of tires is eating me alive on three bikes! Gotta get back to buying the basic items .... oil, filters, tires, plugs, etc.

Bob

PS - I haven't heard a Bonnie with StainTunes. I'm afraid to ... I might break down and add that to the current mods.

I'm with you, Bob. I don't wanna hear a Bonnie w/Staintunes and doubt I will since I hardly see many of them here in San Diego.

Having 2 bikes is kinda nice since I don't have to buy tires as frequently or change the oil, oil chain..etc. But 2 is the most I'd want to be dealing with at one time. I only have about 650 miles on the Bonnie but I'm getting in the low-mid 30s for mpg so far I think. I hammer the Bonnie pretty good but still that sucks. Hope it improves.
