Spoke with my local dealer when I wanted to switch out my stock Bonnie seat for a Thruxton Gel - they told me the 2008 thruxton seat (stock) was actually a little softer on the rear-end then the gel would be. I took their word for it, got the stock Thruxton seat on EBay for a good price, and it offers far better cushion and a bit of height over the stock Bonnie seat that was on my 04' T100. Very happy with the form and function!

So, there are two versions of the K&Q seat? I couldn't find anything to support this.

Does anyone know the difference in the model numbers to be sure?

A9700133 is the number quoted by Triumph. I looked up seats for efi and carb'd bonnies and this number was quoted on both occasions. It seems they are quoting only the efi seat chassis now, which of course fits both efi and carb'd bikes.
