Scrambler sidestand too short??

Hi,
Recently bought a stock 06 Scrambler.....is the side stand too short on these....or is it just me?? Seems like it leans more than needed. Has anybody added a foot to the stand or something to reduce the lean angle??

Thanx for any advice......
Clay

The spike on the Scrambler is short and they do lean quite a bit. Just part of the bike's character........
