Brown cruft on air box?
Just popped off the cover to install some indicators and new seat and see some brown cruft near the throttle bodies intake. Isn't slimy, more like a real sticky hardened goo that is slightly pliable.
Any ideas what it is?

It's gasket sealer around the air box joints, nothing to worry about.

You know, I'm not sure I want to know about the brown crust around your 'airbox' this early in the morning. Put me right off my cornflakes.
