Bloody hell, for that price it should at least come with an airbox removal kit! 650 bucks for a couple u-bends and a couple filters?

Not the same as auto applications. It also has the end of the filter covered so you won't get a ram air effect and very possible you will have the reverse. Depending on it's position in the air stream you can get a negative pressure (as air rushes past at speed)in the inlet and that's not a plus.

Why buy a bonny to do that to it? Surely you buy it for its retro look so Dunstalls, yes, get rid of those awful mirrors and put some less obvious bar ends on (god says we have to have mirrors). This defies the retro look - go buy something else

After looking at this plumber's nightmare the only thing I can say is what a crock of S***. This might be cool for a trailer queen or show bike but not a rider. After all the years of riders trying to increase air flow, why didn't this show up and become the norm? A better solution may be a box with separate K&Ns and the side panels with forward pointing scoops ala drag racing hood scoops. The box would concentrate the air (like the airboxes onder the scoops on racers with an small air dump to avoid a sail pocket affect of too much air forced in around the filters (had to help my fellow drag racers with this when their fiberglass and thin sheet metal hoods would get humpbacked at the speed traps. Anyone up to this idea?

I like it just because it was out of the box thinking. I would like to see some dyno runs and real world testing. It would look cool with the right style of bike, i agree the price is a little absurd but again, R&D cost, etc. Give it a few weeks until the Chinese are knocking it off and buy that kit instead.
