Bone head move & a question

Fired her up after work for the ride home, then as I'm pulling away I shifted into first withOUT pulling in the clutch.

She stalled. I restarted and drove home without any incident.

My question: is it possible that I did some damage to the clutch or transmission?

Possible: Yes. Probable: NO. The Bonnie trans is pretty strong, and what you did at idle rpm is not as stressing as downshifting without the clutch at high rpm on the move, IMHO.

Ride, Smile, and enjoy...don't look for problems that aren't there.

Thanks redbird. I sort of thought that, but was compelled to seek guidance.
