I've taken the battery off my 2012 SE for the winter to put it on a battery tender in another building, but does anyone know if I'm going to cause the bike any trouble if its off for several months - for instance, mileometer digital memory.

The clock will need resetting but that's about all.

Baltobonneville

The oil will solidify in the crankcase, but will melt when you reconnect the battery, although you'll need to give it an hour or two.
