T100 seat on SE??

As much as i like the SE seat it does sit you an inch lower to the ground than the T100 and I've noticed I'm rather tucked up on the legs/knees front on the SE even though I'm only 5ft 10, a friend has a standard bonneville and has just spent over £200 on a www.britishbikebits.com retro seat. I'm a cheapskate and can get a T100 seat much cheaper.

I 'm assuming the T100 fits the SE, but can anyone say for sure it does, or has fitted one???

Whilst a seat from any Bonneville, T100, Scrambler, etc... will fit, I would recommend getting one from a later bike with EFI like yours. The later seats have a small cut out in the base to give extra space for the ECM and you may (or may not) experience some issues if you use a seat from a carbed bike that doesn't have the cut out.

Here is a picture of seat bases from a carb'd bonnie and an EFI model.
I have a carb'd base king and queen seat on my 2010 EFI bonnie and thus far hasn't caused me any problems. As PAAS says it may cause problems, could well depend on the weight of the rider.

Thanks for the quick answers. I may be purchasing a T100 seat then, just got to nip to the dealers first and have a sit on one to make sure its as nice as the SE one
