Oh ok. The reason for my reply was one of those expensive magnetic drain plug companies quoted me an measurement of M14 x 1.5 x 12. I am guessing either the 12mm or 16mm would be fine?

With the magnet on the end, maybe you need the bolt to be a little shorter?

Perhaps as I was thinking the same because the the magnet protrudes slightly making up the difference. Well, just curious.

The 16mm magnetic plugs shown on this thread fit fine. Plenty of clearance where the plug screws in:
