"Dual Headlamps" on a Bonnie?
Hey, been sitting here going through the forum and I've been wondering if anyone has ever put the dual headlight set up seen on the S3's on a bonnie? Just wondering if it's been done before and how it would look.

Even though I am not keen on the idea, I think it would be an interested experiment. Time to fire up the photoshop.

I have seen one over near Adelaide. The owner is on this forum, phil1100 I think. He has also done some serious engine work and playing with 6 speed gbox. The thing looked very cool indeed.

As one of those who thinks Triumph went horribly wrong when they changed the S3 headlights from round to whatevertheyarenow, I can't say I've ever considered the idea of dual lights on a Bonnie and I'm not sure it would work.
That said, I fully encourage you to give it a go and post up the results. Color me interested.
Worst case, it's just a bolt on and you can always go back.
Certainly can't be as bad as the ape hanger equipped Thruxton. <shudder> That thing still gives me chills.

Oooh, thanks for the pic...to be honest I really dig the look. Think I'll look into this to see if it can be a bolt on thing (as suggested above) over the coming months.

Had to look up the ape hangers.... were it on any other bike, I'd think I'd appreciate it more. However, reminds me of a time I saw guy riding a bicycle with bars similar to this, and in his leather gear. Good Laugh there.

Check out this prior thread: http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-tech...ed-triple.html Have a look at Phil-1100 info. That is the bike I saw over in the Adelaide Hills.
