Mine looks like yours ..adjuster on the right side.....i would look where it is attached to brace on the carbs ,why its not turning is there any issue with thread or ....

The pics of the knob are great, but have you accessed the carbs where the extended idle adjustment screws into the carb assemble to see why it isn't turning? Have you shot some penetrant on it/tried turning it by twisting up close to where it screw in?

My guess is that it's bound up & just needs some lovin' to work like new. Feel free to replace it if you want, but that's kinda like having your colon removed when all you need is to eat some fiber...

Best response of the week...but to answer that, no. I haven't had much time to play around it. But, everything suggested is top of my list for the weekend :beer:
