Hey plumpton make sure when you loosen bolts, do so that you break em all free and turn each one a turn or so at a time until there out & tighten them finger tight same way then start to torque down a 1/2 turn or two at a time. This should prevent warping cam cover & keep seal in place. Give it a once over before you fully commit to torque spec & inspect seal for consistent mating. Good luck!

Cam cover and all gaskets swapped out... Think the new gasket is still weeping a bit though. Can't tell just yet because I used some oil to seat the gasket in to the new cam cover. As you can see I've gone yellow. Fancied a change.
