T120 headlight on 2012 bonnie
lookin at the original style t-120 bonneville at british bike bits, same place my beautiful DS003 seat came from, anyone fit one or can give fitment details would be appreciated, it has the toggle switch on top for on-off and some idiot lights, better looking bullet shape IMO. thanks

uhm make sure you got a H2 lamp, so you can install halogen (unless you want dim light),
you will need to get the idiot lights for that headlamp, the stock new bonneville ones wint fit, about a milimeter shy of fitting :/
also try to get one with 3 holes in the bottom, I have a 1 hole and I'm not sure I will be able to fit all the plugs, theres space enough for each one single and for all the wires together, but getting them all trough might involve dismanteling some. You will probably need new bolts, and maybe even to drill out the headlight brackets, depending on which year your bonneville is.

You should be able to get away with buying the shell and rim, the original reflector should fit. I found it easier to use the single wiring hole, and elongate it. It looks neater than the version with 3 wiring holes.
I also got the plain shell, without idiot lights and switch.

I used a hacksaw blade, then a dremel to keep a rounded shape at the top. The grommet will no longer fit, so I used a piece of thin rubber channel held in place with silicone to cover the sharp edge and protect against corrosion. It only really need to be just big enough to pass the connectors through.

The T120 would have been a 7" light- but the parts are generic, fitted to lots of old Brit bikes. You are looking for a 7" Lucas pattern bucket and rim. Like this, but this one has 3 wiring entry holes and it's in the UK. You also get various permutations of holes in the top (or none at all..)
