This may be a dumb newbie question. Can you make a modern triumph have a kick start set up as well as the electric start?

This has been discussed and while nothing is impossible for all practical purposes a kick start on a Hinckley Bonneville is not viable. I, like you, wish it were.

When I get nostalgic for kickstarters, I just close my eyes and remember my '71 Norton and that &%$@# '49 Panhead. Does the trick every time and I'm back in love with the electric foot.

That being said my vintage Honda is kick start only. There is just something a little more bad ass about kicking your bike over when riding with a group when they all push buttons. When it's cold, hot, humid, dry, or on days that the sun isn't at peak efficiency, I hate that kick start.

But on the days she wants to work, it's a bona-fide bad ass feeling.
