Mine has always idled badly or not at all when cold. When I take off on a ride, once I push in the choke, I have to keep the throttle goosed until it's thoroughly warmed up, about 15-20 minutes. It doesn't bother me, because it runs very nicely when it warms up, and I don't want to mess with it.
2005 Bonneville Blue 790cc, AI removed, Staintunes RC, no snorkel, inlet enlarged, 118/40/NBZT "Thruxton" needles/1 shim/3 turns, Ikon 7610s, Ricor Intiminators, Dunlop GT501s, D9 gauge panel, tachometer.
